The Story Behind "Bitty"

Bitty - the nickname that stuck. Obviously and to contrary belief, my son was not born to this name. 

Im sure at some point, probably when he gets to middle school, he will despise and try to remove himself from this endearing term. 

The name "Bitty" was birthed right around the time that he was. Weighing in at only 6 pounds 7 ounces, he was "itty bitty" to say the least. 

He was a tiny but feisty little one and as soon as I laid eyes on him, I begin calling him "bitty". 

Since then, its stuck. His "real" name I should say, is Gabriel Alexander. 

He is now at that age where he is beginning to claim his real name more and more but for the sake of this blog, I will refer to him as "Bitty."
